Members of the Permanent Delegation of the BiH PA in PACE, Milica Marković and Ismeta Dervoz, participated at the regular autumn session of PACE in Strasbourg
Members of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) and MPs in the BiH PA House of Representatives, Milica Marković and Ismeta Dervoz, participated in the regular autumn session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), which was held on 29 September in Strasbourg.
As announced by PACE, during the session, current issues related to the Ukrainian crisis were discussed, as well as the functioning of democratic institutions in Georgia, and compliance with the obligations of Albania.
Debates were also held on the role of women in building democratic states after the revolutions in Arab countries; action against expressions of neo-Nazism and xenophobia; as well as a joint debate on good governance, quality education and raising the status of vocational education and training.
During the regular autumn session, which lasted until 3 October, members of PACE discussed the activities of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), and the activities of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) in 2013 and 2014. (End)
