Members of the Collegium of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina spoke with the Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Mladen Bosić, and Deputy Speakers, Šefik Džaferović and Borjana Krišto, spoke today in Budapest with the Deputy Prime Minister of Hungary Zoltan Semjen.

They have together stated that relations between two countries are good and that there are no open issues. At this meeting, it was discussed about the possibilities of further improvement of trade, cultural and economic cooperation. Hungary is among ten most important trading partners of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the annual trade exchange is about 600 000 000 marks, the deepening of cooperation in agricultural and other areas could increase the volume of export from Bosnia and Herzegovina and the coverage ratio which is currently around 45%.

The Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister Zoltan Semjen has emphasized that, despite numerous internal problems, the European Union must continue the process of integration and to receive the Western Balkans countries in its full membership. In this process, Hungary and other member states of the Višegrad Group will provide, as he said, the strong support to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

At the end of the two-day visit to Hungary, the delegation of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina talked with the mayor of Szekszárd, city in the south of Hungary. (end)
