The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly, Borjana Krišto spoke with the Italian Ambassador to BiH

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly Borjana Krišto met today in Sarajevo with the Italian Ambassador to BiH, Ruggero Corrias. They discussed the progress made by BiH in the process of EU integration, as well as the further development of bilateral relations between the two countries.

Ms. Krišto confirmed that BiH is to submit its application for EU membership on 15 February this year , adding that despite numerous political issues, BiH has made significant strides in implementing the reforms required for European integration. The discussion also concerned the proposal of the Protocol on Parliamentary Co-operation between BiH and ItalyIt was agreed that the two sides should speed up the adjustments to the proposals in this document, in order for it to be signed in the near future.
