Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives Šefik Džaferović meets with the Ambassador of Italy to BiH

 Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, met today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of Italy to BiH, H.E. Ruggero Corrias, to discuss the continuation of good political and economic co-operation between the two friendly countries.

During the meeting, Mr. Džaferović and Mr. Corrias discussed the Protocol on co-operation of representative houses of the parliaments of the two countries, the signing of which is expected in the near future. It was concluded at the meeting that the signing of this document will significantly contribute to the improvement of parliamentary co-operation between Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The two sides also exchanged views on the current political situation in BiH, and the migrant crisis faced by countries in the region and Europe. (End)
