Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr Denis Zvizdić, and Deputy Speaker, Marinko Čavara, Participate in the Parliamentary Intelligence and Security Forum in Madrid

The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr Denis Zvizdić, and the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Marinko Čavara, are participating in the 29th Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum, which is being held today and tomorrow in Madrid, organised by the Senate of the Kingdom of Spain.
The host of the Forum is the President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Spain, Pedro Rollán Ojeda. The event brings together parliamentarians, security experts, and representatives of international institutions to exchange views on the key security challenges faced by democratic states.
The Forum focuses on enhancing parliamentary oversight of the intelligence and security sector, combating terrorism, countering cyber threats, and strengthening resilience against hybrid threats. Participants also discuss the role of legislative bodies in maintaining the balance between security and the protection of fundamental human rights.
Bosnia and Herzegovina’s participation in this important international gathering reaffirms the country’s commitment to regional and global security cooperation, as well as to strengthening the institutions of the rule of law and democratic oversight. (End)
