Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marinko Čavara, met with the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of Hungary for the Western Balkans

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marinko Čavara, met with the Special Envoy of the Prime Minister of Hungary for the Western Balkans, Zsolt Bunford.

During the meeting, the discussion focused on the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, with particular emphasis on the country's European path, respect for the Constitution of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and the legitimate political representation of the constituent peoples.

Mr Čavara expressed his gratitude to Hungary for its consistent and strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina's European integration, emphasising the importance of ensuring that the country's EU path is based on the principles of respect for the constitutional order and the equality of its constituent peoples.

The Special Envoy of the Hungarian Prime Minister, Zsolt Bunford, reaffirmed Hungary’s strong support for Bosnia and Herzegovina’s European future and highlighted the importance of respecting the Constitution of BiH and ensuring legitimate political representation of the constituent peoples, as a foundation for the country’s stability and functionality.
