Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Dragan Čović, held a meeting with the Minister of Croatian Veterans of the Republic of Croatia

The Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Dragan Čović, met today in Zagreb with the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia and Minister of Croatian Veterans, Tomo Medved.

The discussions focused on issues of particular importance to Croatian Veterans of the Homeland War, with special emphasis on the status and rights of Veterans from Bosnia and Herzegovina. Minister Medved informed Dr. Čović about current projects and support measures for the Veteran population, while Deputy Speaker Čović highlighted the importance of institutional cooperation in ensuring the rights and dignity of all those who contributed to freedom and independence.

Additionally, key issues of peace and security were discussed, emphasizing the challenges of the modern security environment and the need to strengthen cooperation in combating all forms of threats to stability. The interlocutors agreed that peace, security, and the Euro-Atlantic perspective are key prerequisites for the long-term prosperity of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the entire region.

The meeting reaffirmed the exceptionally good and friendly bilateral relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Croatia, emphasizing the importance of continued cooperation in all key areas, including political stability, economic development, and security cooperation.

Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PABiH, Dr. Dragan Čović, and Minister Medved expressed satisfaction with the cooperation so far and announced further activities aimed at improving relations between the two countries, with a special focus on protecting the rights of Croats in Bosnia and Herzegovina and strengthening regional stability.
