Members of the Joint Commission for Economic Reforms and Development of the PSBiH held a meeting with the assistant director of the Directorate for Indirect Taxation of BiH

Members of the Joint Committee for Economic Reforms and Development of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) Nihad Omerović, Mladen Bosić and Šemsudin Dedić held a meeting today with Muharem Mašinović, Assistant Director in the Tax Sector of the BiH Directorate for Indirect Taxation.

The topic of the meeting was consultations and the exchange of opinions and views regarding the amendments to the Value Added Tax (VAT) Act, which refer to the postponement of the deadline for submitting applications and paying VAT.

Omerović, Bosić and Dedić are members of the working group of the Joint Committee for Economic Reforms and Development of the PA BiH, which should propose the aforementioned changes to the Law on Value Added Tax with the aim of facilitating business for businessmen who are VAT payers.

It is expected that the Working Group of the Joint Committee for Economic Reforms and Development of the PABiH at the next session of the Committee will present changes to the Law on Value Added Tax, which, after being adopted by the Joint Committee, will be sent to the further parliamentary procedure in both houses of the PA BiH.
