Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH Marinko Čavara participated in the Interparliamentary Conference on Common Foreign and Security Policy and Common Security and Defence Policy in Warsaw

Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) Marinko Čavara participated in the Interparliamentary Conference for Common Foreign and Security Policy and Common Security and Defence Policy (IPC CFSP/CSDP), which was held in Warsaw as part of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union (EU).
The Interparliamentary Conference on CFSP/CSDP is an important forum for the exchange of information and experience in the field of the EU's Common Foreign and Security Policy and Common Security and Defence Policy. It was established in 2011 by a decision of the Conference of Speakers of the EU Parliaments (EUSC) in Brussels, and its work was further defined at the EUSC meeting in Warsaw in 2012. The Conference is held twice a year in the Member State holding the Presidency of the Council of the EU, bringing together representatives of the national parliaments of the EU Member States and the European Parliament.
During the Conference, Mr. Čavara participated in discussions on key security and foreign policy challenges and emphasized the importance of international cooperation and parliamentary diplomacy in strengthening stability and security in Europe and beyond. The Speaker of the Seim of the Republic of Poland Szymon Hołownia and the Chair of the Committee on EU Affairs of the Senate of the Republic of Poland Tomasz Grodzki addressed the participants, emphasizing the importance of inter-institutional cooperation and the role of parliaments in shaping EU security policy.
Participation in this event once again confirms Bosnia and Herzegovina's commitment to actively contributing to regional and international processes, as well as to strengthening cooperation with European and global partners in the field of security and foreign policy strategy.
