Speaker of the House of Peoples, Dr. Nikola Špirić, Receives Newly Appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Li Fan, on Introductory Visit

"The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Nikola Špirić, received the newly appointed Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Li Fan, on her introductory visit. 

During the discussion, it was emphasised that the two countries have a good cooperation and friendly relations, and that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the PR China and Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

The interlocutors agreed that this is an opportunity to establish even better cultural, sports, and economic cooperation through various events to commemorate this anniversary. 

Speaker Špirić highlighted the necessity of continuing activities to further enhance economic cooperation.

He added that, alongside infrastructure and energy projects, significant progress has been made in recent years in collaboration in the fields of tourism and agriculture, but that there is still much room for improvement in other areas. 

The meeting also addressed current events in the country, region, and world. 

Discussing the current situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the interlocutors agreed that political dialogue is the key solution to all misunderstandings, with the message that the PR China fully supports peace and stability in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
