The 6th session of the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilisation and Association of the EU – BiH is being held in Strasbourg

Today, the 6th session of the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilisation and Association of the EU – BiH (SAPC) commenced in Strasbourg, opened by the Committee Chairman Davor Ivo Stier and the First Deputy Chairman of the PABiH Delegation in the SAPC, Zdenko Ćosić. 

Participating in today's session were members of the Delegation: Mia Karamehić Abazović, Ilija Cvitanović, Branislav Borenović, Saša Magazinović, Milan Petković, and Dženan Đonlagić. The participants were also addressed by Ambassador Obrad Kesić on behalf of the BiH Mission to the EU, Elvira Habota, Director of the Directorate for European Integration of BiH, as well as Zuzana Miháčová representing the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs,Kaja Kalas, and Bárbara Jesús Gimeno representing the European Commissioner for Enlargement, Marta Kos. 

It was mutually agreed that preserving the stability of Bosnia and Herzegovina is crucial for the continuation of reform processes and further progress towards EU membership. Additionally, strong support for BiH institutions in implementing reforms that will accelerate our country’s European path was reaffirmed.

It was highlighted that the Parliamentary Committee for Stabilisation and Association of the EU – BiH will continue to actively monitor the progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina and provide support in the European integration process.

Additionally, the members of the PABiH Delegation in the SAPC will attend a debate on Bosnia and Herzegovina taking place in the European Parliament this evening and will resume their work tomorrow. (End)
