PABiH Delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Marina Pendeš, participated in a roundtable in New York titled "Women’s Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: The Road to 2030."

Delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Marina Pendeš, participated in a roundtable titled "Women’s Leadership in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: The Road to 2030," which was organised by "Women Political Leaders" (WPL) and held in New York.

During the roundtable, parliamentarians from Europe, the Americas, and Africa emphasised the need for increased participation of women in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, particularly in decision-making positions. 

The discussions addressed the progress made in implementing the Beijing Declaration, a document that set global standards and objectives for gender equality 30 years ago. The challenges posed by digital transformation and the use of artificial intelligence were recognised, and the necessity of equipping women with the skills required for success in an economy driven by artificial intelligence was highlighted.  (End)
