Members of the BiH Parliamentary Delegation to the SEECP PA participate in the 11th Plenary Session of the SEECP PA in Skopje
The Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Delegation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) to the Parliamentary Assembly of the South-East European Cooperation Process (SEECP PA), Džemal Smajić, and delegation members Nermin Mandra and Nenad Grković are participating in the 11th Plenary Session of the SEECP PA, held in Skopje, North Macedonia.
Members of the BiH Parliamentary Delegation participated in the meetings of three SEECP PA General Committees - on Economy, Energy, and Infrastructure; on Justice, Internal Affairs, and Cooperation in the Field of Security; and on Social Development, Education, Research, and Science, which were held prior to today's plenary session of the SEECP PA.
Members of the parliamentary dimension of this regional initiative are discussing the strengthening of regional cooperation and the promotion of economic development in light of the implementation of the document "South-East Europe 2030 Strategy." Organizers have envisaged that a special focus in the discussion will be placed on enhancing the first dimension of the Strategy, titled "Prosperity in South-East Europe Region."
It is expected that parliamentarians from South-East European countries will, through the final documents at the meeting in Skopje, reaffirm the important role of the SEECP PA, based on the principles of regional responsibility and mutual respect, as well as the strengthening of cooperation between parliaments in the region, particularly in the process of European integration of candidate countries for European Union membership.
