The Deputy Chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives, Sabina Ćudić, met with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia

The Deputy Chairwoman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sabina Ćudić, met today with the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Paruyr Hovhannisyan.

During the meeting, which was also attended by the non-resident Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Prague, Ashot Hovakimian, the interlocutors exchanged information about the current political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia, as well as the current situation on the global political scene.

They also exchanged information on the process of enlargement of the European Union (EU) and expressed the commitment of the two countries to continue reforms and European integration processes on the path to EU membership.

Discussions also included the possibilities for enhancing inter-parliamentary relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Armenia. A forthcoming visit of the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Armenia, Ruben Rubinyan, to the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina was announced. (end)
