The Chair of the Joint Commission for Economic Reforms and Development, Ermina Salkičević - Dizdarević, held a meeting with UNDP representatives in BiH

The Chair of the Joint Commission for Economic Reforms and Development of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ermina Salkičević - Dizdarević, today held a meeting with representatives of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Bosnia and Herzegovina in connection with the joint organization of the Conference "The Role of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Achieving Sustainable of development in Bosnia and Herzegovina", which is planned for May 16, 2024.

As it was said at the meeting, the primary goal of this Conference is to promote, discuss and investigate the role of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH in encouraging sustainable development in BiH and fulfilling the goals of the 2030 Agenda.

It was pointed out at the meeting that the conference will provide an ideal platform for discussion on the integration of sustainable development issues into legislative and budgetary frameworks and will contribute to the understanding of the direct links between the EU agenda and the 2030 Agenda.

The conference, it was emphasized, will also be an opportunity to exchange experiences and good practices with representatives of the parliaments of other countries in the implementation of these important documents. (end)
