Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dr. Denis Zvizdić, attended the celebration of the Day of the City of Goražde and Bosnian - Podrinje Canton

"Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Denis Zvizdić, attended today the celebration of the Day of the City of Goražde and the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton.

"The people of Goražde should be proud of their defense of the city, which impressed the world, and of the heroism and success of a completely unarmed unit made up mostly of the youth of this city, who pushed the aggressor away from the center of Goražde and preserved the border on the Drina river. It was the biggest success of the BiH Army in the first year of the war and the heroic defense of Goražde. We remember with admiration the heroes of the defense of this wonderful city and we say that we will never and must never forget them," said Dr. Zvizdić on that occasion.

Together with the Member of the Presidency of BiH Denis Bećirović, Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PABiH dr. Denis Zvizdić also attended a meeting with the members of the Government of the Bosnian-Podrinje Canton.
