The First Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PABiH Marinko Čavara received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden in an inaugural visit

"The First Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PABiH Marinko Čavara received in an inaugural visit the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden to BiH, Johanna Strömquist. 

The interlocutors agreed that between the two countries prevail friendly relations. Mr. Čavara thanked Sweden for its continued assistance to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

The focus of discussion was on European integration, that is, the candidate status of Bosnia and Herzegovina for membership in the European Union. On this subject, Mr. Čavara spoke about the challenges that facing Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, as he assessed, are an excellent opportunity for the stabilisation of political relations.

They also discussed the strengthening of co-operation between the parliaments and all other institutions of the two countries in order to contribute to the fulfillment of BiH's current obligations for the transition to the next integration stages and the opening of pre-accession negotiations for BiH's full membership in the European Union.
