The Chair of the Joint Committee, Halid Genjac, pointed out during the meeting that positive events in the neighbouring countries, such as Republic of Croatia's imminent accession to the EU, affect positively our country too, emphasizing that Bosnia and Herzegovina has full support from the Republic of Croatia for joining the EU, the Deputy Chair, Borjana Krišto, noted that there is a consensus in BiH about its accession to the EU, but there are different opinions how to achieve that.

Reflecting on the implementation of the Judgement passed by the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Sejdić and Finci versus Bosnia and Herzegovina, she pointed out that reconciliation of civil and national concept is an important issue which is being opened and that essentially, this is firstly political and only secondly a legal issue.
