The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PABiH, Dr. Denis Zvizdić, held separate meetings in Berlin with high-ranking officials of the Bundestag and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany.

"The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Denis Zvizdić, held separate meetings in Berlin with the President of the Bundestag Committee for European Union Affairs, Dr. Anton Hofreiter, and with the special representative of the Federal Government of Germany for the Western Balkans, Manuel Sarrazin.

The Speaker informed the interlocutors about the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the intensification of the process of implementation of the fourteen priorities from the Opinion of the European Commission, with the aim of accelerating the path towards European integration.

The interlocutors of today's meetings agreed that, after obtaining the candidate status, it is necessary that Bosnia and Herzegovina, on its further European path, work rapidly on adopting the specific legal regulations, on strengthening the rule of law and the overall stability of the state and region. They have also expressed a firm position regarding the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

They also discussed the necessity of stronger economic development, which would provide all citizens, especially young people, with a clear perspective and prosperity.
