Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PA BiH, Dragan Čović Ph.D., met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to BiH

"Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dragan Čović Ph.D., today held a working meeting with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to BiH, H.E. Julian Reilly.

The officials discussed the current situation in BiH at different levels of government, as well as progress towards the European Union and NATO, and relations between the two countries.

On that occasion, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples, Dr. Čović, expressed his satisfaction with the progress achieved at the state level, expressing his expectation that the newly elected officials will achieve the necessary progress in the field of internal and external political goals.

Also, the importance of a stable and constructive political dialogue, respecting the Dayton principles and Euro-Atlantic goals, was especially emphasized, so that the achieved momentum of positive developments would continue and result in general prosperity and progress.

It was assessed during the meeting that bilateral relations are at a satisfactory level, with a determination to continue the development of relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
