The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH, Denis Zvizdić Ph.D.., met with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to BiH

"The Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Zvizdić Ph.D., met today with the Ambassador of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to our country, Julian Reilly. They discussed the improvement of parliamentary cooperation and the key priorities of Bosnia and Herzegovina on the way to European and NATO integration.

Speaker Zvizdić informed Ambassador Reilly about the political, security and economic situation in our country and about the formation of the government after the October elections. He thanked the United Kingdom for its support to Bosnia and Herzegovina and said that the United Kingdom is a great friend of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Reilly said that his country firmly stands behind the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina and will continue to work intensively on further strengthening cooperation and improving relations between the two friendly countries.

Ambassador Reilly handed Speaker Zvizdić a letter from Lindsay Hoyle, Speaker of the House of Commons of the British Parliament, in which, in addition to congratulating Speaker Zvizdić on the appointment, Speaker Hoyle writes that the assumed position is an honour and a privilege and expresses his best wishes in carrying out his responsible work."
