Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Dr. Denis Zvizdić met with the Head of the EU Delegation to Bosnia and Herzegovina

“Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Dr. Denis Zvizdić, met today with the Head of the Delegation of the European Union (EU) in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Johann Sattler. They discussed the political situation in Bosnia and Herzegovina and tomorrow's appointment of the BiH Council of Ministers. Dr. Zvizdić said that the Commission for the preparation of the elections of the BiH Council of Ministers made a recommendation for the appointment of the Council of Ministers with a large majority of votes, which is certainly a positive signal ahead of tomorrow's session of the House of Representatives.

Speaker Zvizdić expressed satisfaction with the fact that Bosnia and Herzegovina was granted candidate status, expressed his gratitude to Ambassador Sattler for his support and said that the EU Delegation has always been a partner to the authorities in BiH.

The head of the EU Delegation in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Johann Sattler, said that the EU and Bosnia and Herzegovina are very close partners and that the Union wants Bosnia and Herzegovina to be part of the European family. He said that in the coming period, work should be done on fulfilling the conditions so that Bosnia and Herzegovina could become a member of the EU as soon as possible.
