Members of the BiH PA Delegation spoke to reporters from the Monitoring Committee in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE)

Borjana Krišto, Ismeta Dervoz, Nermina Kapetanović, Krunoslav Vrdoljak, Boško Tomić and Mladen Bosić, members of the BiH PA Delegation in the PACE, spoke today to Caroline Ravaud, a reporter from the Monitoring Committee. Mary Ann Hennessey, Head of the Council of Europe Mission to BiH, also attended.

The Monitoring Committee reporters expressed their interest in the implementation of the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg judgment in the Sejdic & Finci vs. BiH case; the future steps that the BiH PA has to take to resolve the issue of the identification of the number of citizens; and the BiH’s reaction to the amendments to the Resolution of the European Parliament on the Improvement of BiH, by Doris Pack, member of the European Parliament.

Members of the BiH PA Delegation in the PACE informed the reporters that, despite the different views on certain political issues in BiH, there exists consensus on the necessity to implement the Strasbourg judgment, as well as the necessity to reach agreement on all issues that hinder BiH in its European integration process.
