Speaker of the House of Peoples, Dr. Dragan Čović, meets the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia and the President of the Croatian Parliament
Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Dragan Čović, met with the Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia, Andrej Plenković, and the President of the Croatian Parliament, Gordan Jandroković, on March 23, 2020.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina expressed his condolences to the Croatian people and all citizens of the City of Zagreb affected by the devastating earthquakes and subsequent earth tremors on March 22 and 23, 2020.
During the meeting, officials discussed joint efforts and mutual support in tackling the coronavirus pandemic, cross-border co-operation, EU assistance, as well as additional measures in the field of health priorities and maintaining economic security.
The Prime Minister and the President of the Croatian Parliament emphasised the positive co-operation, and expressed solidarity and readiness to find the necessary assistance for Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, like countries around the world, is facing the development of a coronavirus pandemic.
