Speaker of the House of Peoples, Dr. Dragan Čović, attended the General Audience with the Holy Father Pope Francis in the Vatican

"The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH), Dr. Dragan Čović, attended a general audience with the Holy Father Pope Francis in the Vatican today.

Dr. Čović spoke with the Holy Father Pope Francis and the Secretary of State of the Holy See,  Cardinal Pietro Parolin.

During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in BiH, opportunities and relations in BiH, the position of the Croat people, and the implementation of the Basic Agreement between BiH and the Holy See.

The support of the Holy See for the preservation of the equality of the Croat people in Bosnia and Herzegovina was expressed.
