Speaker of the House of Peoples, Bakir Izetbegović, meets the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to BiH

The Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bakir Izetbegović, spoke today with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Bosnia and Herzegovina, H. E. Mahmoud Heidari.

During the meeting, it was emphasised that the relations between the two countries are at the highest level, and it was stated that good relations in the political field are accompanied by increasingly better economic and foreign trade co-operation.

The need for continued good inter-parliamentary co-operation between the highest legislative institutions was also emphasised, which, as it was said, will further improve the relations between BiH and the Islamic Republic of Iran in all areas. (end)
