Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Ognjen Tadić, spoke with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China
Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Ognjen Tadić, spoke today with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to our country, Chen Bo.
The interlocutors jointly noted that it was pity that due to the interruption of the session of the House of Peoples on 21st March, ratification of the Agreement between the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Government of the People's Republic of China on mutual abolition of visas for holders of civil passports was postponed. They noted the expectation that this very important decision for better integration of citizens of the two countries will be adopted at the next session of the House of Peoples, which is scheduled for 17th April.
During the meeting, Ambassador Bo briefed Tadić about key conclusions of the recent Session of the 13th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 13th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), which are commonly called the "Two Sessions" and are traditionally held in early March each year session. She particularly highlighted invested efforts enabling the Chinese society to monitor flows more efficiently through new institutions in order to reduce the risk of corruption occurrences.
The Speaker of the House of Peoples thanked for this information and expressed his appreciation of the correct and productive attitude of the People's Republic of China towards the state of world politics. (End)
