Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Strasbourg at the World Forum for Democracy

 
Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, consisting of members of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Milica Marković and Saša Magazinović, will participate at the World Forum for Democracy from 18 to 20 November in Strasbourg.

This year's World Forum for Democracy, being organized by the Council of Europe, will bring together political leaders, parliamentarians, civil society activists and youth and media representatives from around the world. The Forum will focus on ways to establish a balance between the preservation of security of citizens and the protection of their rights and freedoms in democratic societies which are under threat of violent extremism and terrorism.

During the three-day meeting symbolically titled "Freedom Versus Control - for a Democratic Response", where the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be represented by the Secretary of the Common Services, Aida Koristović, discussions will be held on the proper level of surveillance of citizens, confidence building in divided societies, and the responsibility of media in "Age of Terrorism."
