Deputy Speakers of the House of Peoples Safet Softić and the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH Šefik Džaferović talked with Prime Minister of Bulgaria

Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples Safet Softić and the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Šefik Džaferović met today with Prime Minister of Bulgaria Boyko Borissov, who is in an official working visit to Bosnia and Herzegovina.

In an open and cordial conversation, it was emphasized that BiH and Bulgaria have achieved very good cooperation on the political agenda but that more needs to be done to boost trade between the two countries. Today is also stressed the need to intensify cooperation between the parliaments of the two friendly countries and welcomed the forthcoming visit of the Speaker of the Parliament of Bulgaria on an official working visit to our country.

Prime Minister Borissov emphasized the commitment of Bulgaria to support the Euro-Atlantic path of Bosnia and Herzegovina, agreeing with the assessment that adopting the principles and standards of the European Union and then membership in the EU are the best stabilizing factors for Bosnia and Herzegovina.
