Speakers of both Houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Borjana Krišto and Ognjen Tadić at the 8. Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of Western Balkan countries
Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PA BiH) Borjana Krišto and Speaker of the House of Peoples of the PA BiH Ognjen Tadić will participate at the 8. Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of Western Balkan countries, to be held on 27. October 2017 in Budapest.
The conference, organized by the National Assembly of Hungary every two years with the aim of promoting European and Euro-Atlantic integration among the Western Balkan countries, will be, as announced, split into two sessions.
Borjana Krišto, the Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PA BiH will address the participants at the first session on the aspirations and results of the Western Balkans countries in the process of integration into the European Union, while the Speaker of the House of Peoples, Ognjen Tadic will address the participants at the second session on cooperation between the Western Balkans countries in contributing to European security.
László Kövér, the Speaker of the Hungarian National Assembly, will open the Conference. It is envisaged that Speakers of the both Houses of the PA BiH have a meeting with him.
It is also envisaged that Speakers Krišto and Tadić will speak with the speakers of Albania and Montenegro Parliaments on the margins of the Conference.
As announced, the Speakers of both Houses of the PA BiH will also meet with representatives of the Hungarian-Bosnian-Herzegovinian Business Council. (End)
