Members of the PABiH Joint Committee on European Integration at the Interparliamentary Conference on Independent and Modern Public Administration in the EU and the Enlargement Countries
Chairman of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Nikola Lovrinović, and a member of the Committee, Halid Genjac, will participate at the Interparliamentary Conference on Independent and Modern Public Administration in the European Union (EU) and countries that are part of the EU enlargement process, which will be held on 29 September 2017 in Danilovgrad.
During the Conference, organized by the European Parliament in cooperation with the Parliament of Montenegro and the Regional School of Public Administration (ReSPA), the participants will be presented the principles of European public administration, highlighting the fact that public administration reform is one of the fundamental policies in the EU enlargement process.
One of the Conference panels will be focused on politicization and professionalization of public administration through merit and performance based processes, as well as issues of accountability and audit in public administration.
Participants of the Conference will also discuss the strategy for fighting corruption in the civil service, as well as the development of e-services in the public administration with the aim of increasing its efficiency.
Twinning projects, implemented in parliaments of the enlargement process states by EU experts, and which are aimed at providing support to parliamentary staff and public administration, will also be presented in Danilovgrad. (End)
