The hosts expressed their gratitude for the rapid reaction and generous help from Montenegro to the citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina who suffered during the natural disaster. It was noted that friendly Montenegro has bitter experience itself of similar situations, and will contribute to better outcomes from the upcoming international donor conference to help repair the flood damage in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It was stressed today that there are no outstanding issues between the two friendly countries. Interlocutors called for the further development of economic co-operation, which currently looks to be much less than in previous years. A need to improve and build traffic infrastructure was emphasized several times, which would better connect the citizens and entrepreneurs of the two countries. Also, the reconstruction of existing roads, the building of the Adriatic-Ionian motorway and the Čapljina-Nikšić railway were also emphasized.

Parliamentary co-operation between BiH and Montenegro was noted as being both very good and progressive. The wish for more regular meetings between the two countries’ high officials was expressed, to develop joint projects; bringing foreign investors to the region, as both countries are too small individually.
