Born on January 23, 1949 in Vrbica, Livno municipality. Graduated in 1971 from Electrical-Engineering Faculty in Banja Luka – Department for electronics and telecommunications. Master degree obtained in 1978 from Electrical-Engineering Faculty in Banja Luka, and doctor degree in 1982 at Technical Faculty in Novi Sad (Doctor of Technical Sciences).
