Born on August 2, 1950 in Ričica, Kakanj municipality. In 1974, graduated from the Faculty of Political Science in Sarajevo. Master degree obtained in 1985, and doctoral dissertation in 2002 at the Faculty of Arts in Sarajevo (Doctor of Philosophy).
