The Committee on Finance and Budget considers issues which relate to: the BiH Central Bank; the banking system, except for banking policy; foreign debt; the funding of the institutions of BiH – taxation, debt accumulation or accumulation of other resources; the functioning of the financial institutions at the level of Bosnia and Herzegovina; regulations pertaining to finance and budget; the execution and oversight of the budget of Bosnia and Herzegovina; decisions on debt accumulation, public loans and other financial liabilities of Bosnia and Herzegovina; reports of the BiH Audit Office.
The Committee, in cooperation with the appropriate body of the House of Representatives, prepares and submits the budget of the House and the joint budget of the BiH PA to the BiH Council of Ministers before September 15 each year in order that the BiH PA budgets are included in the draft law on the budget of the institutions of BiH for the next year. The Committee also considers other issues regarding finance and the budget under these Rules of Procedure.
