A commemorative session for the Deputy Chairman of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA, Sulejman Tihić, was held

 
In the presence of his family, members of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, members of the Collegium, MPs and delegates of both houses of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA), Chairman and Ministers of the Council of Ministers, members of the diplomatic corps and a large number of friends and admirers, a commemoration service for the Deputy Chairman of House of Peoples of BiH PA, Sulejman Tihić, was held in the Great Hall of the BiH PA.

On behalf of the Collegium of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA, last farewells were sent by the Chairman of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA Dr. Dragan Čović and Deputy Chairman of the House of Peoples of the BiH PA Staša Košarac.

Attendees were addressed by the Chairman of the BiH Presidency, Bakir Izetbegović.

The two Vice-Presidents of the Party of Democratic Action, Asim Sarajlić and Adil Osmanović also sent their last goodbyes to Mr. Tihić, who was President of the party.

After the commemoration service, the funeral cortege of the late Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples started out from in front of the BiH PA building, with the coffin being escorted to Šamac, where Mr. Tihic will be laid to rest in the White Mosque.

Throughout the morning, a large number of officials and citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina signed the book of condolence, which was open for signature in the building of BiH PA. (End)
