Deputy Chair of the House of Representatives, Borjana Krišto, spoke with the Ambassador of the Republic of China
Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) and China have very good political relations, not affected by any unresolved interpersonal issues. However, while working on further strengthening this relationship, they should intensify efforts to create the preconditions for stronger economic ties; as noted during today's working meeting between the Deputy Chair of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Borjana Krišto with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in BiH, Dong Chunfeng.
They agreed in their assessment that the new government of our country is faced with many great tasks, of which work on economic development and employment is the highest priority, and that there are real opportunities for many objectives to be achieved through stronger links between the business people of the two friendly countries.
Ms. Krišto thanked her guests for the assistance that China has offered to our country, especially with medical devices and its contribution to the development of agriculture, as well as in many other areas.
She expressed the hope that, in the future, new chapters of co-operation will open up. She also emphasized both her personal, and the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH's, willingness to contribute fully and constructively to the process. (End)
