Members of the Collegium of the House of peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly spoke with the Delegation of the European Integrations Committee of the National Assembly of Serbia

The members of the Delegation of the European Integrations Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, who stay in a two-day visit to our country, met today with the members of the Collegium of the House of peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Speaker Safet Softić and Deputy Speaker Bariša Čolak.

Expressing satisfaction that are reactivated, after certain deadlock, the relations and more active dialogue between two neighbouring countries, the officials also agreed that the next period should be used for full cooperation in the common European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Serbia. In this process it is important to share experiences and thus to maximum speed up and to simplify the process of reaching standards required for all future members of the European Union.

Mr. Softić and Mr. Čolak welcomed today the announced practice that the working bodies dealing with European integrations in the parliaments of Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina will have regular meetings. At the same time, they agreed with the preliminary agreement on the forthcoming organization of a conference which should improve cross-border cooperation with a view to realize the joint projects with the support of European funds. Today it was announced that, at the invitation of the President of the National Assembly of Serbia, Maja Gojković, the leadership of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina should soon officially visit Belgrade.
