Speaker of the House of Peoples Safet Softić received the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Safet Softić met today with Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Bosnia  and Herzegovina Hani Abdullah M. Mominah.

During the meeting the officials expressed their satisfaction with the fact that there are no open issues in the relations between the two countries and that they are at the highest possible level. However, they agreed to make additional efforts in order to enable these good political relations to result in the expansion of economic cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is still at a modest level. The two officials also welcomed the full range of bilateral agreements on cooperation in the cultural plan, which, as has been said, contribute to further strengthening the friendly relations of Saudi Arabia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

Ambassador Mominah particularly stressed the need to strengthen ties between the parliaments of the two friendly countries at all levels and in particular through the work of parliamentary friendship groups. (End)
