Speaker of the House of Peoples, Safet Softić, and Member of the House of Representatives, Mirsad Isaković, spoke with the Deputy Speaker of the Parliament of the Sultanate of Oman

Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH Parliamentary Assembly) Safet Softić, and a Member of the House of Representatives of the BiH PA, Mirsad Isaković, met in Berlin, at the International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the Arab World, with the Deputy Chairman of Majlis A’shura Council of Oman, Mohammed Abubaker Al Ghasani.

During the meeting, the collocutors agreed that there are numerous opportunities for improvement of bilateral cooperation between the Parliamentary Assembly and the Parliament of Oman, and emphasized the need for the development of economic cooperation.

Speaker Softić invited businessmen from Oman to participate in Sarajevo Business Forum, as well as at trade fairs in BiH, with the aim of getting acquainted with specific projects which they could undertake to implement.

Mr. Al Ghasani stated with satisfaction that parliamentary diplomatic channels make excellent opportunities for establishment of good political and business relations between the two countries. In this regard, Mr. Al-Ghasani said he is looking forward to the forthcoming exchange of visits by parliamentary delegations of Oman and Bosnia and Herzegovina, which, as stated, can create new possibilities for cooperation between the two countries.
