Speaker of the House of Peoples, Safet Softić, and Member of the House of Representatives, Mirsad Isaković, at the International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the Arab World in Berlin

Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH Parliamentary Assembly), Safet Softić, and a Member of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of BiH, Mirsad Isaković, will participate at the International Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy in the Arab World, which will be held from 26 to 30 July 2016 in Berlin.

As the organizers announced, Softić and Isaković will be the keynote speakers at the panels dedicated to the specificities of BiH Islam, a bridge between the Arab and the European Muslims, and the tourism as a socio - cultural factor linking the East and the West.

The aim of the event, organized by the Berlin Institute for Cultural Diplomacy, is to consider the possibility of the development of cultural diplomacy in the Arab world in light of the current global transition and challenges.

At the symposium, at which the leading politicians, diplomats, government officials, academics and professors will take part, as well as famous artists and journalists from European and Arab countries, best practice of management of cultural diplomacy in certain parts of the Arab world will be presented.
