Delegation of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the PA BiH at the Inter-parliamentary Conference on the control of IPA funds

A Chairman of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) Nikola Lovrinović, his deputy Nermina Kapetanović and a member of the Committee Fehim Škaljić will take part at the Inter-parliamentary Conference on the control of European Union IPA funds, which will be held on 16 September in Belgrade.

At the conference, organized by the Department of the European Parliament for the pre-accession activities in cooperation with the European Parliament's Committee on Budgetary Control, Foreign Affairs and Regional Development, members of parliaments of the enlargement process and the European Parliament will discuss the parliamentary control of the instruments of the European Union (EU) for Pre-Accession Assistance, as well as the harmonization of the IPA II program to the strategy of EU enlargement.

During the conference, hosted by the Serbian National Assembly, the role of parliaments in budget support and monitoring of reforms will be discussed, as well as regional and cross-border cooperation in support of IPA funds. (end)
