Speaker of the House of Peoples Safet Softić at the European Conference of Presidents of Parliaments of the Member States of the Council of Europe

Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina Safet Softić will participate in the European Conference of Presidents of Parliaments of the Council of Europe Members States, which will be held in Strasbourg on 15 and 16 September.

Speaker Softić will address to conference participants in the framework of the theme "The mobilization of parliaments against hate, for inclusive and non-racist society".

During the two-day meeting, divided into three sessions, the role of parliaments and the Council of Europe in promoting democracy, human rights and the rule of law will be discussed.
President of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Pedro Agramunt and Secretary General Jagland Thornbjorn are expected to address at the plenary session which will open the conference. (end)
