The Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO took part in the 88th Rose - Roth Seminar
The Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) in the Parliamentary Assembly of NATO (NATO PA) consisting of Nikola Lovrinović, Dušanka Majkić and Asim Sarajlić, participated in the work of 88th Rose - Roth seminar in Belgrade, during which they discussed a number of issues and challenges facing the Western Balkans region.
At the meeting, organized by the NATO PA and hosted by the National Assembly of Serbia, discussions took place on the challenges brought by the departure of foreign fighters in the Middle East and North Africa, the fight against organized crime, the co-operation of Western Balkan countries in the energy field, as well as State reform management for defence and building integrity.
During the meeting, it was concluded that there is visible progress in mutual understanding and co-operation between the countries of the Western Balkans in a number of areas, and stressed that this co-operation should be intensified, especially with regard to the harmonization of national legislation with the principles of the European Union and the fight against corruption.
It was pointed out within the discussion that regional networking and the rational utilization of all potentials and resources in the Western Balkans has no alternative.
Members of our delegation had a number of meetings with colleagues from the region, during which they welcomed such mutual meetings, as opportunities to exchange experiences and views of parliamentary bodies’ representatives and those delegations represented in the assembly from international organizations and associations.
