Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Šefik Džaferović, met the Ambassador of Italy to Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Ambassador Corrias informed Mr.Džaferović on the forthcoming visit of Lodovico Sonego, Head of Italian Delegation to CEI Parliamentary Assembly, to our country. In this respect, the Ambassador Corrias wished to Bosnia and Herzegovina a successful Chairmanship of the CEI, the multilateral organization in which our country is a full member since 1992. Mr.Džaferović showed his appreciation to the Ambassador Corrias and expressed his belief that, under BiH chairmanship, CEI will have a successful work in this year. 

During the meeting, they discussed the finalizing the actions with regard to signing the Protocol on Parliamentary Cooperation beetwen Bosnia and Herzegovina and Italy. Mr.Džaferović expressed his satisfaction with the fact that this Protocol is going to be signed soon which, as he said, will make preconditions for the improvement of bilateral cooperation between the two countries as well as for the strongest cooperation of Parliaments of Italy and Bosnia and Herzegovina. 

They also discussed the European path of Bosnia and Herzegovina with the emphasis on the forthcoming submitting application of our country for EU membership, and they exchanged the informations and opinions regarding current domestic political issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina. (End)
