Members of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean in the PAM Plenary Session in Tirana
Members of the Permanent Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), composed of the Head of Delegation, Šemsudin Mehmedović, First Deputy, Ognjen Tadić and Second Deputy, Mensura Beganović, will participate at the 10th PAM Annual Plenary Session that will be held on February 18 and 19, 2016 in Tirana.
During the session in the capital of Albania, when PAM will mark the tenth anniversary of existence and work, there will a discussion on the high level on the current and forthcoming challenges Mediterranean region is faced with.
Within three plannned panels, the participants of the Plenary Session wil discuss the circumstances of Syria, Libia and Middle East crisis as well as the migration issue and combating terrorism.
There will also be a discussion on economy development and economic cooperation of the Mediterranean countries, climate change and environmental protection, promotion and protection of human rights, the intercultural dialogue and the preservation of cultural heritage in the countries of region.
Ilir Meta, Speaker of the Parliament of Albania, Edi Rama, the Prime Minister of Albania, and Lhou Lmarbouh, President of PAM will welcome the participants of the meeting on behalf of the host. At the very beginning of the Plenary Session, the message of Ban Ki-Moon, UN Secretary General will be read. (End)
