Members of the Collegium of both Houses of the BiH Parliamentary Assembly at the 14th Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of the Adriatic and Ionian Initiative



Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH PA) Mladen Bosić, his deputy Borjana Krišto and Deputy Speaker of the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly Bariša Čolak will take part in the 14th Conference of Speakers of Parliaments of the Adriatic - Ionian Initiative, which will be held on April 16th this year in Split.

Speakers of parliaments of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Greece, Croatia, Italy and Slovenia, during the conference divided into two sessions, will consider the contribution of the participating countries of the Adriatic - Ionian Initiative to the comprehensive European response to the migrant crisis, and exchange views on the added value of parliamentary cooperation in the framework of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian region (EUSAIR).

On behalf of the host, the conference participants will addressed by the Speaker of the Croatian Parliament, Željko Reiner. Members of the Collegium both Houses are expected to address the participants at both sessions.

It is announced that in the opening session, the Conference participants will be addressed by the Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Miro Kovač, MEP Ivana Maletić, and the Secretary General of the Adriatic - Ionian Initiative Fabio Pigliapoco.
The Conference will be concluded with the adoption of the joint statement of Speakers of Parliaments of the Adriatic - Ionian Initiative. (End)
