PABiH Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM) participates in the 20th PAM Plenary Session in Budva
The Chair of the Delegation of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean (PAM), Rejhana Dervišević, and the Deputy Chairs of the Delegation, Sredoje Nović and Vlatko Glavaš, are participating in the 20th PAM Plenary Session, which is being held in Budva.
Within the sessions of the three PAM Standing Committees, as well as during the plenary session, parliamentarians from the member states of this regional multilateral parliamentary organisation, experts, representatives of executive authorities, the academic community, international organisations, and the private and civil sectors are discussing key challenges for the Euro-Mediterranean and Gulf regions. These include political and security developments, the fight against terrorism and transnational organised crime, as well as climate change and the energy transition.
During the session in Budva, discussions will also cover global economic conditions and the facilitation of regional trade, as well as the issues of human trafficking, migrant smuggling, and the position of children in armed conflicts.
At the meeting of the PAM Standing Committee on Economic, Social, and Environmental Cooperation, the Chair of the PABiH Delegation to PAM, Rejhana Dervišević, will present—in her capacity as the Committee’s Rapporteur—the Report and the Draft Resolution on the topic: "Global Economic Trends and Regional Dynamics in the Euro-Mediterranean and Gulf Regions: Key Outcomes of the Marrakesh IV Agreement."
As part of the 20th PAM Plenary Session in Budva, the 5th Meeting of the Secretaries General of PAM Member and Partner Parliaments was also held, attended by members of the Collegium of the PABiH Secretariat, Mirza Imamović, Gordana Živković, and Dražen Mustapić.
