Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the PABiH Marinko Čavara Held Working Meetings in Zagreb with Ministers in the Government of the Republic of Croatia
Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PABiH) Marinko Čavara and the Minister of Finance of the Central Bosnia Canton Mirjana Plavčić held working meetings today in Zagreb, during an official visit, with the Minister of Health of the Republic of Croatia Irena Hrstić, the State Secretary of the Central State Office for Croats Abroad Zvonko Milas, and the Minister of Physical Planning, Construction and State Assets of the Republic of Croatia Branko Bačić.
The discussions focused primarily on new projects and programmes in the Central Bosnia Canton and across Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole. Particular emphasis was placed on further strengthening cooperation and continuing the support of the Government of the Republic of Croatia through investments in healthcare, education, infrastructure, the economy, and other development sectors.
Čavara and Plavčić thanked the Government particularly for its support so far, highlighting the importance of strategic projects already being implemented in the Central Bosnia Canton, including the "Extension and Equipping of the Croatian Hospital 'Dr. fra Mato Nikolić' – Two Wings in Nova Bila", the project "Foundation for the Stay of Croats in Fojnica and Bosnia and Herzegovina – Construction of a Primary School with a Pre-school Institution and a Sports Hall in Fojnica", as well as the project "Renovation of the Catholic School Centre 'Petar Barbarić' in Travnik".
It was emphasised that the support of the Croatian Government encompasses not only strategic projects but also numerous other projects of significance for local communities, which together form a strong foundation for development and the improvement of the quality of life in the Central Bosnia Canton and Bosnia and Herzegovina as a whole. It was assessed during the working meetings that precisely such comprehensive support represents one of the most important investments in people, their stay and survival, as well as in creating a better and more secure future.
In conclusion, the interlocutors expressed confidence at the meetings that the high-quality partnership and cooperation would continue in the future through the realisation of new projects, to the benefit of the Central Bosnia Canton and the whole of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
