1.12.2025 Chair of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zdenko Ćosić, is participating in the 74th COSAC plenary meeting in Copenhagen

A delegate in the House of Peoples of the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina (PSBiH) and Chair of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the PSBiH, Zdenko Ćosić, is participating in the 74th plenary meeting of the Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of the European Union (COSAC), which is being held in Copenhagen under the Danish Presidency.

Around 300 parliamentarians, members of committees for European affairs from the 27 parliaments of the European Union (EU) Member States, as well as Members of the European Parliament, will discuss the topic “A Strong Europe in a Changing World”, which has been the focus of the six-month Presidency of the Kingdom of Denmark of the Council of the EU.

Participants of the COSAC Plenary were addressed, via video message, by the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, while introductory remarks were also delivered by senior representatives of the Danish Parliament and Government, as well as of the European Parliament.

It is expected that the Chair of the Joint Committee on European Integration of the PABiH, Zdenko Ćosić, will address the participants of the COSAC Plenary tomorrow during the session dedicated to EU enlargement, reforms, and the rule of law.

The participants of the COSAC Plenary will also discuss the EU’s trade policy, as well as issues of energy sustainability and the green transition. (end)
